2016 International Challenge March Online Competition

The 2016 International Challenge March is a great opportunity to continue refining strategies for use throughout the 2016 season! Top players will be eligible to earn Championship Points as progress toward an invitation to the Pokémon World Championships in San Francisco this August. All battles are Double Battles played in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. You may not bring in Pokémon from earlier games via Poké Transporter (the blue pentagon is required). All Pokémon above Lv. 50 will be set to Lv. 50 for the duration of the match.

Kanto Classic Online Competition

Celebrating 20 years of Pokémon battles, the Kanto Classic Online Competition features rules that mirror competitive play from the original Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue games. Create a team using only the first 149 Pokémon in the National Pokédex. In true classic Pokémon spirit, all battles will be Single Battles, and all six of the Pokémon in your party will be used in each battle. Plus, items will not be allowed! You will be able to bring in Pokémon from earlier games via Poké Transporter, and all Pokémon over Lv. 50 will be set to Lv. 50 for the duration of the battle.

Pokkén Tournament Early Access Competition

The Pokkén Tournament Early Access Competitions are free and open to the public. Space is limited, and spots in the competitions will be first-come, first-served. Players will be split into two age divisions. The winner from each city in each age division, plus one guest, will be flown to the Nintendo NY store in New York City on March 17 for the Pokkén Tournament Early Access Competition finals! The winner of the finals will receive a Wii U, thePokkén Tournament game, and a travel award to Columbus, Ohio, to battle in the 2016 Pokémon US National Championships!

In addition to the Pokkén Tournament Early Access Competitions, look forward to participating in the Pokkén Tournament Championship Series, a worldwide event with big prizes on the line, including invitations and travel awards to the 2016 Pokémon World Championships this August in San Francisco, California! More information on the Pokkén Tournament Championship Series will be revealed soon.
